Whistleblower Hotline

This website is part of the service provided by Stopline Pty Ltd to BaptistCare NSW & ACT and its employees, volunteers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to enable the reporting of misconduct or other issues that may adversely affect BaptistCare NSW & ACT, its customers, its people or its reputation.

Further information on what can be reported through this hotline and how that information can be reported is included on this site. We encourage you to explore the site. It includes the BaptistCare NSW & ACT Whistleblower Policy and Code of Conduct and answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the service provided to BaptistCare NSW & ACT by Stopline and how it works.

Dear Colleagues and stakeholders,

Misconduct or ethical behaviour is damaging and can have far reaching implications for our people, business operations and reputation. BaptistCare has a zero tolerance for misconduct and unethical behaviour, including abuse of authority, theft or corrupt activities, fraud, significant mismanagement or waste of funds or resources, actions that place people at risk of harm, actions that cause a significant risk to public safety and serious breaches of law.

At BaptistCare NSW & ACT we have a whistleblower program that empowers our employees, volunteers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to play an active role in the elimination of improper conduct and unethical behaviour. Under this program, we encourage individuals to do the right thing and speak up if they see something which is not right in the form set out above or otherwise.

This program now provides access to Stopline, a confidential, independent provider of whistleblowing services who will take full details of your concerns via telephone, mail, email or this website. This service is available to all BaptistCare NSW & ACT employees, volunteers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders and translation services can be provided if requested. When speaking or interacting with Stopline, you can choose to remain anonymous if you desire.

As well as the disclosure process, the website provides access to our Code of Conduct, Whistleblower Policy and answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. These policies and practices are critical for ensuring we meet our objectives of acting ethically and being well-governed. Providing this service is part of our commitment to best practice and encouraging our people to ‘speak up’.
